At time of booking, Aer Lingus Reservation staff, or your travel agent, must be informed if you plan to travel with a pet/animal, sports equipment or musical instrument. You will be advised of applicable rules, restrictions and charges.
Animals
Pets can be booked on direct Ireland to USA Aer Lingus flights only.
It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that they adhere to the regulations of the country to which they are travelling.
All animals will be transported in the Cargo Hold.

Travelling into Ireland
" From USA: Animals must be booked as cargo with the local Aer Lingus cargo department. Due to the duration of the flight from Los Angeles Aer Lingus do not carry pets on this route.

Travelling out of Ireland

To the USA: Pets (cats & dogs only) can be booked as excess baggage by contacting Aer Lingus reservations.

There is a €100 per flight sector per crate payable at the airport on the day of departure. Due to the duration of the flights to Los Angeles and Orlando Aer Lingus will not carry pets on these routes.

If the Passenger is not travelling with the pet or for the carriage of any animal other than household pets, they must be booked as cargo.

Bookings will only be confirmed at the earliest 14 days prior to travel.
